Introducing Pathways, Accutrainee’s innovative platform designed to streamline and simplify the process of recording and supervising Qualifying Work Experience (QWE) under the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE). Pathways is a free digital tool created to support aspiring solicitors, especially those from historically under-represented backgrounds, by providing an accessible way to manage their QWE.
With Pathways, you can:
- Organise and track your work across up to four different placements over two years.
- Build a detailed journal, add work entries, and send it to a supervising solicitor for confirmation.
- Track your progress against the SRA’s competency framework with real-time updates, all in one centralised location.

Core to the Pathways platform is its training portfolio. This enables you to record, monitor and track your QWE against the SRA requirements, with progress updates. Pathways will track your skills and competencies as you go and identify areas of development where you might need more focus. The system encourages self-analysis and self-reflection to consider where you are at in your development and enables you to store all relevant qualification documents centrally and securely.
