Our clients often have requirements for paralegals
Working as a paralegal can be a great way to gain experience and give you an idea of the type of firm you’d like to work for. It can also be useful for showcasing your talent and as a stepping stone to securing a training contract.
What’s the selection process?
There are two ways you can secure paralegal positions through Accutrainee according to your personal situation and preference. You can apply for a training contract and let us know that you are also interested in paralegal positions. Alternatively if you are solely interested in paralegal positions, apply to us directly using the paralegal online application form.
Q: If I take up a paralegal position am I employed by Accutrainee or directly by the client?
A: Typically our clients will employ you directly.
Q: If I am working as a paralegal can I still be put forward for a training contract?
A: Yes! Provided you have successfully completed our selection process for training contracts. Working as a paralegal can be a great way to gain experience whilst the right training contract secondments become available.
Q: I'm already a paralegal at a firm who have suggested they would like to help me qualify but are not sure what to do. Can you help with this?
A: Yes certainly. We have helped many current paralegals secure secondments at the organisations they are already working at. We will also assess whether your training period can be reduced due to time to count.
