Susan has created something in Accutrainee that doesn’t just provide an alternative route to qualification, but adds a lot more value to all parties concerned than may initially be obvious. For firms like mine, we benefit greatly from the partnership that takes our trainee’s development and technical competencies way further than we can do on our own in the same amount of time. Our business is growing and our in-house legal needs are ever increasing and without me doing much extra, before long we shall have a newly qualified lawyer in someone that already knows us and our business. My Accutrainee experience was fantastic from the minute I arrived at Accutrainee’s offices for the assessment centre! The quality of my training was excellent and there was plenty of support and guidance. Susan and the rest of the team always made themselves available when I needed advice or input.

I have met and worked with some wonderful people as part of my training contract, especially the other Accutrainees! We’ve had some really fun socials and it was always nice to get together to hear how the other trainees were getting on.

I did part of my training at an American law firm, which specialised in trade finance and part of it in-house for the asset management arm of a Swiss bank. I learned so much and made some great contacts. It also helped me work out what area of law I wanted to specialise in. I went into private practice on qualification and now work for a large asset manager. I think one of the things which really interested employers was the variety of my training and experience I was able to gain during my training contract. Things are going really well and I love my job.

I would highly recommend the Accutrainee route to anyone looking to do a training contract.
