Founder’s statement

Accutrainee took on its first trainee in July 2012. I was nervous about introducing a new concept into a traditional industry, but it’s one that I strongly believe in. I really wanted to create opportunities for graduates in a market where it seemed increasingly hard to do so. I also wanted to give legal service providers an easier and more efficient way to use trainees.

My priority from the start has been to get the best quality candidates – without that, we wouldn’t have a business. I’m lucky to have a great team and advisory board working with me, and we’ve devised an assessment programme which I believe (and which our clients have confirmed through candidate feedback) is exceptional. Through this we’re helping promote diversity in the workplace – our programme is based on testing core competencies and skills as well as personal aptitudes and ambition, NOT just on how someone may look on paper.

We’re proud to work with these exceptional candidates and make their training experience a fulfilling one. An experience which sees them through to being well rounded and commercially astute solicitors.

We have the pleasure of working with some fantastic law firms and in-house legal teams. I’m delighted we’ve been able to introduce candidates to them who have helped add real value and flexible legal support to their businesses. We’ve had plenty of feedback to tell us that our model truly delivers on its promise giving them flexible efficient access to great candidates and they feel totally comfortable that we are taking responsibility for all regulatory considerations.

I hope our website gives you all the information you need, be it as a potential client or as a graduate looking to apply. We look forward to hearing from you.
