Susan has created something in Accutrainee that doesn’t just provide an alternative route to qualification, but adds a lot more value to all parties concerned than may initially be obvious. For firms like mine, we benefit greatly from the partnership that takes our trainee’s development and technical competencies way further than we can do on our own in the same amount of time. I hired a paralegal. My Accutrainee experience was fantastic from the minute I arrived at Accutrainee’s offices for the assessment centre! The quality of my training was excellent and there was plenty of support and guidance. Susan and the rest of the team always made themselves available when I needed advice or input.

I have met and worked with some wonderful people as part of my training contract, especially the other Accutrainees! We’ve had some really fun socials and it was always nice to get together to hear how the other trainees were getting on.

I did part of my training at an American law firm, which specialised in trade finance and part of it in-house for the asset management arm of a Swiss bank. I learned so much and made some great contacts. It also helped me work out what area of law I wanted to specialise in. I went into private practice on qualification and now work for a large asset manager. Founder’s statement

Accutrainee took on its first trainee in July 2012. I was nervous about introducing a new concept into a traditional industry, but it’s one that I strongly believe in. I really wanted to create opportunities for graduates in a market where it seemed increasingly hard to do so. I also wanted to give legal service providers an easier and more efficient way to use trainees.
